Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a startup based in Salt Lake City. We provide self-analytic and consulting services to clinicians, individuals, and small businesses who are interested in using data to inform and guide decision making. It is a service based model emphasizing the circular relationship between the self, self-analysis, and change in the self. I am interested is using blues, greens, and yellows for our logo. The final design should emphasize a professional and serious tone while also inspiring a confidence in improvement through data driven insights. We are research psychologists by training (PhDs in social/quant psych and ed psych/ learning science) and want to convey that background and credentials through our logo design.

I'm targeting marketing and advertising firms as a UX researcher as well as individuals who are interested in data driven improvements in their lives or professional activities.

Must have

• I like the size and color contrast of the DesignCrowd logo. Simple and proportionate. Nice to have two tones that emphasize different aspects of the company name. in my case I am uniquely emphasizing Self and Analytics as each conjure unique associations. I've attached a somewhat generic logo image that has some of the elements I'm going for as well. I'd like like a graphic that is equally simple but reflects the nature of our company.

Should not have

• Fonts or features that can be found in any word processing program. Given the market I'm targeting the logo needs to look custom.
