Logo Design Brief

I would like to design a logo for my new business called "MineSMART performance analytics". The company will use big data, data analysis and data visualisation techniques to analyse the performance of mining companies.

The attached examples are what I had in mind... You will see the contours of an open pit mine and the BLOCKS representing the building blocks of the mine embedded into the logo. The logo needs to reflect how my company is turning complexity into simplicity.

Regarding the colour scheme, I have yet to make up my mind. I like blues/black/white/greys or alternatively orange/grey/black (similar to the Reuters logo attached)

Requirements

Nice to have

• It would be nice to have small cubes or squares incorporated into the design instead of the small circles shown in some examples. Mines are designed using 3D block models and it would be nice to somehow incorporate this into the design.
