Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a new design for our company, Far East Communications. We are a technical company that provides testing services and cable equipment sales for cable providers in the United States and Philippines.

For our logo, I'm looking for a simple, sleek, and modern design. I'm not looking for much detail, but open (not required) to including a simple telecommunication element (i.e. a satellite silhouette attached). Neither the image nor words should overpower the other.

Open to creatively integrating the acronym FEC in the logo.
