Postcard Design Brief

Greetings!

This is another interesting project!

There is a lot of room for creativity on this one. I have attached the designs that have been used in past years. We do not like them!
We are looking for something classy, elegant and professional.
We will use art work (painting) for the main image. I will provide that art work in the final stage. Meanwhile please feel free to use whatever artsy image you want.

Here is the initial explanation. I am sure clarification will be needed later on and that's when I will be taking your specific questions.

We will be printing 7-8 postcards. The postcards will have one side specific to each agency and one side that will remain the same, advertising the final event.

What we initially expect to get from you is the designs for 3 sides. (This will become more clear as you read below)

We want a postcard with two sides.
Side (A) will have the information about the one month exhibit in the specific agency.
Side (B) will have the information about the final event. (which involves all agencies). It should have all the agencies logos. The final event will take place June 28th at El Muzeo.

Please understand that side (B) will remain the same as we move through all 7-8 postcards.

Please use any of our collaborative/affiliated agencies to create the design for side (A). You will find them all in our website http://ocmecca.org/member-agencies.

Now that we know what side (A) and (B) should encompass, let's move on to side (C), which will be matched also with side (B).

Side (C) will be a side in which we will have MECCA's contact info and the following paragraph "Funded by the Orange County Health Care Agency, the Multi-Ethnic Collaborative of Community Agencies (MECCA) provides culturally competent outreach & engagement services which include prevention strategies, early interventions and support services in order to reduce the stigma of mental health and to reach underserved individuals and communities across Orange County."

The most important part of side C will be that all the dates for all the one month exhibits should be there with the agencies logos. The dates are in May... You can use May 3rd - June 20th as a temporary default date for all.

Colors and formats are left up to your creative talent. I would like to see a pattern between all postcards.

At the end once we have the final design, we will proceed to send you the exact information to update the postcard and we will possibly ask for the extra service of editing the remaining postcards with the information of the different agencies.

Please feel free to ask all the questions that might come to mind.

I have also attached all logos.

It's very important that you browse through our website and truly understand what The Stigma Arts event is and how our organization is a collaborative of 7 community agencies. Stigma arts and most of our projects relate to mental health in multicultural communities in Orange County.
