Logo Design Brief

We are an almost 15 year old boat show management and marketing company based in South Carolina, USA.
For years we produced other types of events, but our core business and passion has always been our boat shows- all on the southeast coast. We have made a decision to stay with our core boat show business and let go of other types. It is our hope that our logo will depict this. We need to use it in all types of media. (website, print, etc.)
Over the years we have used several logo versions. I've attached a couple. We are looking for something that will work well with our website as well. www.JBMshows.com.
We are looking for something that is simple, classy and yet can somehow give people who see it the understanding of what we do, or at least it has something to do with the marine industry. We are a fun, small company of all women.
