CD Cover Design Brief

We need an ablum / cd cover design for the artist Gillian Glover - www.gillianglover.com

The album is called "Still Life With Music"


General
A ‘still life’ is a very traditional and formal art form. With this in mind, the artwork should have an ‘old’ feel, for lack of a better word. I don’t envision anything too contemporary or clean., I imagine something like an old letter or photograph, yellow round the edges and somehow nostalgic.

Colour scheme
This should not be too saturated with colour, but not devoid of it either. I’m a fan of colour – it definitely needs to be in there! We just need to base it on the main image, derive the colour palette from there and reference it constantly.

Font
In keeping with the idea of an old letter, this should be something like an old feather quill and ink, if possible. Can this be hand-written???
