Logo Design Brief
We need a logo and new identity for a University program in entrepreneurship and innovation that helps students launch their own business in 9 months. This logo will be used in electronic badges to represent achievement levels of student participants. Students will display their Launch-in-9 affiliation on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media sites. The program administrators will use the logo on marketing communication for student recruitment, program donor communication, and in communication with employers.
We want a design that can stand alone or used in conjunction with the tag line, "Powered by Launch-in-9". Currently we use L9 as an abbreviation for the program and will consider any combination of full name or abbreviation in logo design.
This logo should convey the message of stretching the limits, unconventional and out of the box thinking, independence, dynamic progress and achievement. This is not Wall-Street -- it's closer to a collaborative 'maker space'.
The corporate colors which will serve as a backdrop for this logo are:
GreenPantone 7496U C:40 M:0 y:100 K:38
Accent Green Pantone 583 U C:23 M:2 y:98 K:12
We need logo colors for Launch-in-9 that are different but will coordinate with these shades and possibly include the accent tone.
