We have a current website at http://www.palacetours.com. The UI needs an overhaul to make it mobile friendly and modern design with good integration with Social Media. The site is currently running .net and all the content is being driven from the backend database managed through our CMS.
Our goal in this project is to just get the bootstrap with upgraded UI that will encompass all the aspects of the existing content. For example - there are multiple pieces in the tour - Itinerary, Calendar, tour map, Accommodation details, city details, photo gallery, testimonials, places for upsell, promotions, video download, brochures etc. - So the design has to be made keeping in mind the existing content objects. Placement of these can be changed to ensure that the pages deliver a visible Click-to-Action for tour bookings / lead genertion etc.
Essentially there are the following templates / pages that need to be redesigned -
Tour Page : Example : http://www.palacetours.com/tours-al-andalus-palace-on-wheels-train-journey-from-seville-t706.aspx
Tour List Page : Example : http://www.palacetours.com/TourList1.aspx?catid=76&rid=11
Country Page : Example - http://www.palacetours.com/default.aspx?rid=11
Category Page : Example - http://www.palacetours.com/TourList1.aspx?catid=76&rid=11
and the Home Page
The Navigation of the site is generated dynamically so for the purposes of this project the navigation structure may stay the same. The main goal is to have a mobile friendly site that will be accommodate all the variables driving the content at this time. Placement of these variables in order to accommodate the responsive layout as well as clear call-to-action is what is important. We have videos and a number of images that we can put in a tour so it needs to be less restrictive design - infact it needs to be expandable to accommodate different variations (eg. some tours may have more pictures than other and they need to be accommodated).
The deliverable is a designed front end that when approved will be supported with bootstrap that we will plug our content to. So first the wireframe then CSS/JS and deliverable "slices".
PLEASE - Do NOT give wordpress site. This is a UI design project!
Updates
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I got a number of designs and some designers are almost at last stages it seems (I have given feedback to them!) but they need more time to show the layout.
