Illustration Design Brief

Looking for a quality original Caricature/Cartoon to be used in advertisements and brochures. Our company name is “TecManDo”. We are a small startup company that does IT management, computer/networking, maintenance, and repair. We are building a company that is very “militant” about providing quality/dedicated services to our customers. We are looking for a “Commando” type 365 degree full body (front/back/sides) Caricature/Cartoon. This character should be physically in shape/healthy and can be male or female. They should be physically attractive. (Note: If you make one who is female she should NOT have huge breasts) He/She should and carry the “weapons” of a computer/networking technician. We are looking for originality and creative ideas keeping with this theme. Some idea’s that we have (not a requirement) are black rimmed “geek” glasses, a headband with a flip down magnifying glass on one side and a flashlight on the other, a vertical strap of hard drives across his/her chest (like a commando might have bullets but this person has hard drives), A bunch of USB flash drives (geek bling) hanging from tethers around their neck, A network tester, motherboard, switch, or oscilloscope, etc. in their hands, a network tester holstered on their hip. These are just a few ideas we have thought about but please be creative keeping with the theme. We will change the project to guaranteed payment once we see that we get promising submissions. We also may add a second place payment if we get two really good designs.

In case you submit a female design: My comment in the brief on the “breasts” was meant to avoid having someone submit Jessica Rabbit in tech gear. While the “geeks” may love it I’m not trying to sell sex appeal. This does not mean a female should look like Betty Rubble either… breasts are attractive but shouldn’t be saying “grab me”… Again, the character should initially catch your eye because you think he/she is a commando but upon closer inspection you see the “Geek”.
