Logo Design Brief

We are a group of plant nurseries that all propagate our plants by grafting. The grafting process is basically joining 2 plants together. it is a very technical process that is done by hand using a specialist grafting knife. We are looking for a logo that includes the phrase 'Grafted for performance' and a symbol that represents grafting. The logo has to be simple. It will be used mainly on our plant labels and could be used as small as 20mm x 20mm. Ideally it will only have a couple of colours , so it can also work in black and white. We are trying to promote that our plants are grafted, which is a far superior way of producing plants. I have attached a few images from google to show what grafting is, although the logo doesn't have to be anything like these and please don't focus on these.
