Logo Design Brief

We're doing a complete overhaul and upgrade of our site and need an effective, modern logo to differentiate us from other green and/or solar sites. We're looking to set ourselves apart from others with excellent prices and phenomenal technology and presentation. A proper logo is the anchor for that, which is where you come in! The logo should grab a customers attention, and infer a sense of trust and excitement, it must be very modern, and with a relatively consistent color set that can accommodate different layout styles. It will be primarily for online consumption, so feel free to let your creativity flow.

Target Market(s)

Currently our audience is typically male 50-somethings with fair internet skills, although it is our goal to expand that into the 25-35+ market as well with this logo.

Requirements

Must have

• We'd like to have our company name on it, you can split it up however you like, just no abbreviations. We're hoping for a very catchy web 2.0 look, and surely we know that is a huge cliche, so take that with a grain of salt.

Nice to have

• Illustrative 3D done right has always struck us as very professional and inviting, but it is not a requirement. Let's be clear, you're the creative professional, we realize that, we can provide constructive feedback and direction, but we won't set any hard limits on what you can produce.

Should not have

• Please, no unicorns. Also, please do not submit cheesy text based designs done in PS with some layer effects, we're looking for professional, vector based designs with simple yet pleasing color palettes.
