T-shirt Design Brief
We need a t-shirt design for a new FIRST Robotics Team in Idalou Texas called The Robocats. We want to combine the robotic look with the Idalou school mascot, The Wildcat. Idalou's school colors are green and gold, but any color necessary to make the shirt look cool can be used. The design needs to be futuristic and very awesome. We were thinking of something like a half robotic/ half normal wildcat, almost like the terminator look. We also want to incorporate our team number 4853, and maybe our team name The Robocats, onto the shirt. The shirts will be sold to students at Idalou and the general public to help raise money for our team, so it needs to appeal to everyone. We don't have any restrictions about where the main image is located. If you want to you can use the entire shirt, just as long as it is cool!

I want to show everyone a few pictures that capture the unrealistic style that we are looking for. None of these pictures feature a wildcat, however, the style used in the pictures is perfect. We don't want a crazy background like the majority of these do, but we do want the wildcat presented in the same style that the main objects in these pictures are. These are all album covers from metal bands like Iron Maiden and Megadeth, so if you need more pictures, you could do a google search. I know that the green and gold doesn't really go with the style we want, so feel free to use any colors, but we would like to have green and gold incorporated somewhere in the project. The type of wildcat we want to use can be seen in the comment section of our project. If we need to make an update with the wildcat pictures, just let us know.

I just remembered this cartoon show called Zoids I watched when I was little. It was an asian cartoon that was in a world that had humans and large robots that looked like animals. The humans piloted the robots(Zoids) in wars or in games. A company called Kotobukyia made some really cool toy models based off of Zoids from the show and here are some pictures of the saber tiger models.

- We would like the shirt to have the metal album style and a wildcat that is half fur/ half robotic with maybe one red eye. Like the Terminator. See the metal albums and wildcat photos posted in the updates. For the team name and number use a font that is similar to what the metal bands(Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, etc) use.
