Logo Design Brief

My company called Earth & Marine Environmental Consultants (EAME), we are a new(ish) company and we have a logo but we inherited that from a sister company that we wish to disassociate from. We would now like our own identity that is completely different to the logo we presently have. We work in marine and land based environments on all manner of environmental projects and we are starting to undertake a lot of work in the Middle East (Iraq especially). We happen to like the type font and wording of our current logo, but not the sword and shield graphic - that is what we would ideally like a new design for, but we are open to variations of the wording/name etc. Our website www.eame.co.uk should give an idea of our business character. We want a professional looking graphic logo or symbol that will be on all of our products and reports from hereonin.

• The initials (EAME)

Nice to have

• Our initials and the full name similarly to the present logo, green and blue hues (not essential), perhaps (an idea) some circular, swirling pattern or something symbolising the interconnectivity of the land and water environments.
  
  Also it would be nice to have some degree of transparency so it can be dropped on documents of various background colours and blend in without showing a "box"

Should not have

• No palm trees, clip art type graphics or recognisable animals/trees or objects, etc.
