Although my background is in engineering, I believe that good design is universal. Much like designing a circuit, a building, or a dress, the designer is given a fixed set of tools to come up with something relevant to the present that references the past and looks to the future. I believe that logos should be simple but they need not be boring. I infuse a bit of wit into it by using pareidolia, anthropomorphisms, substitutions, and negative space. I am continually excited by the challenge of reducing a client's brief into a compact image-and-text combination. hide
