What is a Participation Payment?
Participation Payments are small payments ($15, $20 or $40) paid to designers who submit for a particular design contest but who do not win.  Designers are allocated Participation Payments via invitations from customers or as a Bonus payment once a project is completed.

Note: Participation payments on Guaranteed Projects are guaranteed and will definitely be paid.  Participation payments on non-guaranteed projects may not be paid depending on the outcome of theproject.

The number of Participation Payments on a given job is automatically determined by DesignCrowd based on the size of the budget.  A design contest will have a limited number of Participation Payments or may have no Participation Payments at all.

Participation payments are only paid to designers once it has been determined that their submission meets DesignCrowd's Minimum Design Standards. There is a maximum of one participation payment per designer. To protect businesses against poor quality submissions, DesignCrowd reserves the right not to pay a particiapation payment to a particular designer.
